Was a bit disappointed---pretty average tasting pizza. Similar quality to say a frozen pizza. A classic thin crust style so great fit if you love thin crust. The delivery was great, super quick! But the taste didn't meet the mark for me.

It was really delicious. I do wish that the crust was a bit thicker, I didn't know it was thin crust when I ordered, I feel like part of that is because of the pre bake because the outer crust was wonderful and poofy. However, the flavor of the toppings made up for it! I like how it's delivered in butcher paper instead of a big box, honestly they can use less paper too but I see how some people might complain. Just turn your oven on when you get the delivery is on the way message and your pizza is done ten minutes after it arrives. I got the sausage and parsley pizza. I did add some zucchini and fresh oregano since it wasn't baked yet, which is a nice option to have.. but I feel like even without the extra herbs and veggies it would have been really good. The sausage was really good quality, tender, no grisly bits, not overly oily, and with a great flavor. The cheese had an extra creamy flavor. It looked like there wasn't enough cheese when it arrived, but it cooked up perfectly and tasted like there were two varieties on there, but I think it was just one type of extra tasty cheese. And the sauce was really good too. The only thing I'd change is to make the crust a little thick

Pizza Matador did not disappoint! Our three pizzas and two plain crusts were delivered with a smile by one of the business owners and ready to eat after a 5 minute bake. The whole situation is elegant, efficient, and a wildly good value for the quality. I’ll never do conventional takeout pizza again.

I love this pizza!! We've been ordering from them for years. It's a thin crust and not overloaded, in league with the best fancy-restaurant pizzas. You can just order right from their website, it's delivered partial-baked and you finish it yourself. You have to follow the cooking directions but they're clear. Since you finish the baking at home, it's piping hot when you eat it. When you order from the website you can get the pizza within 20 minutes OR order ahead and select a delivery time slot. You get the best selection when you order early and if you order before 2pm, there's a discount. If you order multiples, there's a discount (they freeze really well). They have rotating seasonal specials (fig!!!!!). The ingredients are super fresh, the crust is a 48-hour ferment, and the packaging is minimal, eco, and elegant. And they always have excellent vegetarian choices. My favorite pizza in the East Bay!
